A Queen Anne, circular, Tea Table with Bird-Cage, on a ring and urn turned base with sophisticated fluting and with cabriole legs ending in pad feet, the Bird-Cage allows the top to be turned around, 28" H. The three board top with repairs is 32" in dia.(31" dia. across the grain), demonstrating the appropriate shrinkage consistent with its age. Walnut, with an old mellow finish, its origin is Pennsylvanian or Southern, circa 1770...

26" square, 18" high Paint decorated New England stand with black and red graining and stenciled decoration incorporating fruit. It came with a side chair that is slightly earlier than the chair but put together years ago by a collector as an assemble. Having a bold overhang on the top with ovolo corners and solid birdseye maple. The step down windsor side chair is really a great match even if a bit too elegant and early for the table. Priced for the two items together.
