A fine American Early 19th Century mahogany mirror, circa 1820. The crown molded crest over a reverse painted and gilt pictorial tablet above a rectangular vertical mirror plate flanked by fluted pilasters. Condition is very good with some minor loss in the reverse painted image. Mirror plate and backboards are original. Dimensions: Height 29", Width 17 3/4".
Probably New England, with hinged top and pull out candleslides. We can replace the glass knob with something more appealing. 26.5" wide, 13.75" deep, 29" high. Note: veneer patches on the sides.
This Splendid American Empire Recaimer, name of a couch/lounger patterned after Roman or Greek couches with one gracefully curving arm significantly higher than the other and often having scrolled ends. The Recaimer is attributed to the workshop of Duncan Phyfe, Extremely Rare and in Stellar Condition. A fine American Classical Pembroke table, probably Philadelphia circa 1830. The table with shaped drop leaves over a frieze fitted with a single drawer. The base with a acanthus carved and turned standard supported on four animal carved legs and paw feet. The legs with original brass casters. Condition: Excellent. Dimensions: Height 29", Length 34", Width 26".
High leg desk on stand, mahogany veneer on the sloping lid, the stand with valanced skirt, 28.5" wide, 24" deep, 44" high. Found and probably made in PA, circa 1825.
