A fine and rare Eighteenth Century Georgian China Trade carved rosewood armchair circa 1780. The chair has a shaped crest with a carved open work "Gothic" splat over an over-upholstered trapezoidal shaped seat. The arms with a serpentine contour are joined to the back legs and side-rails.
