A fine German Biedermeier secretaire a abattant, circa 1830. The abattant with a fall front writing surface and an ebonized interior fitted with drawers and dividers. The lower section with blind doors concealing a storage well fitted with a shelf. The desk has wonderful active grain and a fine mellow patina. Condition is very good.
