A fine Italian Late Eighteenth Italian inlaid walnut commode, circa 1790. The top is rectangular with beautifully figured grain and is decorated with a checkered line band forming an outer border. The case is fitted with two short drawers over two long drawers. The banded inlay repeats on the drawers. The case is supported by 4 square tapered legs.
