A Late Nineteenth Century English carved wood silver leafed mirror, circa 1880. The mirror rendered in a Georgian style is finely carved and finished with a silver leafed gessoed surface. The frame with scrolls, acanthus leafage, and floral vines. Condition is very good with some wear and losses in the surface consistent with age. Dimensions: Height Width.

No one knows whether its name derived from the Earls of Chesterfield or the Derby-shire town. Exceptional George II triple flap gamestable in mahogany, having a shaped hinged top opening first to a baize lined playing surface fitted with corner candle stands and loo scoops, then to an inlaid game board and finally to a baize lined writing surface and storage well fitted with pen and ink wells; all above a conforming skirt and raised on cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and ball and claw feet. Circa 1740.
An English George II Style mahogany and parcel gilt mirror, circa 1870. A central broken arch pediment and molded cornice over a rectangular 3 part beveled mirror plate with a parcel gilt and tooled inner molding. The sides with applied carved gilt leafage ending in an carved and gilded volute. Condition is very good with a fine patina. There are some minor and expected losses in the gilt surfaces and some oxidation in the silver of the mirror plate. Dimensions: Height 25", Width 56".
A fine English George III inlaid side table, circa 1800. The top is rectangular and has patterned inlaid decoration. An outer border in satinwood surrounding a large band of burled elm encloses a center field with radiating panels of mahogany. At its center is an oval reserve of burled elm. A fine English Early George III mahogany kneehole desk circa 1770. The rectangular molded top over a case fitted with a long drawer over three drawers on each side flanking an interior blind cupboard, all resting on a bracket base.
