This Incredible Hand-carved Wood Statue of "San Antonio", Saint Anthony, is in Excellent Overall Condition,c1750. Obtained in France the Statue is of the period when Italy and Spain were of the Same Crown, resulting in this fabulous impression of this beloved apostle. Standing 37.5" tall the statue is hand-painted, has some wood loss and worm holes noted in the back and all around to a lighter degree. There appears to have been some restoration.
