A Mid Nineteenth Century carved figural bust, circa 1840-50. The figure depicted wearing a turban and large earrings is wonderfully carved with strong expression. Condition: The original painted surface is untouched. The torso has some loss in the area of the shoulders which appear to have been absent for some time based on the oxidation on the surface. Dimensions: Height 17", Depth 8", Width 7 3/4".
