| Pair Antique Porcelain Urn Lamps by Ernst Wahliss, "Made in Austria," crown mark of 1899-1918, "52 Harbst," and the impressed pattern number of "5205" along with the blue beehive mark of Austria. Beautifully handpainted each with two young women, and both with gilded signatures, by the artist, "Kittel." 23.5" (59.69 cm) to base of socket, 36" (91.44 cm) to top of acorn finial; 7.5" (19.05 cm) diameter base. Burgundy porcelain urns with ornate brass mounts, much gilded decoration with scattered raised gold "jeweling." Note the aqua glazed handles made to resemble guilloche enameling, with the addition of small flowers and gilded acanthus leaves. Excellent condition with the exception that one lamp sustained minor damage in transit, and is now being professionally repaired by one of the best. c. 1899-1918. $80 US Shipping. | |||||||||||||||
