| Charming naive, folk painting of young girl, in boat among reeds, gazing, it appears, at her reflection. In beautiful, gilded wood antique frame, it is obvious this painting was held in high esteem by a family for a long time. Signed lower right, in script, "MSM." The image measures 21" x 11" (53.34 x 27.94 cm), matted and framed to 29.5" x 20" (74.93 x 50.80 cm). The watercolor is in great condition with only some coloring losses on the sides next to the mat; most spots seen are on the inside of the glass, and not the painting; the frame is in excellent condition. c. 1900-1930. $35 US Shipping. | |||||||||
