| Ornate wood frame with gesso-molded leaf corners; fruit, berries, pinecones, leaves on outer rim; cathedral-style arches and fleur d'lis on two inner sections. Measuring 8.25" x 10.25" (20.95 x 26.03 cm) inside, and 11.50" x 13.75" x 2.25" (29.21 x 34.92 x 5.71 cm) outside. Condition is not perfect, and we have tried to show the worst areas in photos. It needs cleaning and some repair to the gesso. However, the frame is beautiful, as is, for the eclectic collector. Possibly French in origin. c. 1870-1920. $18 US Shipping.
