With elegant scrolled cornice and applied carved anthemion, American examples are quite scarce, this one appears to be of Connecticut origin, circa 1790-1810, condition is excellent, keyhole escutcheons may be original, drawer pulls are replaced with correct style brasses, solid cherry, pine and poplar secondary wood.
