Miniature Chest. American Empire, two drawers over three, mahogany veneer over pine, original feet, knobs and finish, one small veneer repair, circa 1840, in excellent overall condition. An almost identical example is in the collection of the Peabody/Essex Museum and another belongs to the Connecticut Historical Society. Height 9-1/8", Width 9-3/4", Depth 6".
