| Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985), "Bay of Angels with a Bouquet of Roses", fine art lithograph drawn on stone by Charles Sorlier (and so inscribed in lower left corner of image), printed by Mourlot, after original gouache by Chagall (with his name inscribed in lower right corner of image), fully labeled with printed data en verso of sheet, pencil-signed by Chagall (in the studio) while sheet still slightly damp, and numbered 27 in an initial printing of 75 sheets annotated with Roman numerals, H:29" sheet size, X 20 3/4" with an elaborate matt and framed. Important to note that is designated with the initials of Chagall's master lithographer, (Charles Sorlier) in vol. 5 of the Chagall catalogue raisonné.
